Audio Review: Prabhas and Nayantara's Yogi Telugu album

Prabhas and Nayantara’s latest telugu movie- Yogi- audio album is relased. V.V.Vinayak is the director of the movie while Ramana Gogula is the music director of this telugu movie. Ramana Gogula gave wonderful tunes for this movie. It definitely scores over Annavaram and Rakhi. Most of the songs are for mass audience though movie is based on mother sentiment.

1. Ye nomu nochindo – Best sentimental album after a long tome. This song is enough for family audience. Suresh voice resembles Jesudasu. He did justice.
2. Ororo Yogi- Good song for masses with some double meaning lyrics.
3. Nee illu bangaram kanu – good song of the album. Catchy tune. Tippu and Sunitha are the singers.
4. Gilli Gichi – Another good mass song.
5. Gana Gana – mass song enough scope for good steps. Adnan Sami and Sudha are the singers.
6. Dolu Baja- Catchy mass song. Shankar mahadevan is the singer.

Verdict:
Mass audience: 4.25/5. Must buy.
Class audience: 3.5/5.

V.V.Vinayak knows how to obtain desired lyrics from his music directors. Only minus point in this album is one or two tunes are repititive of recent hit tunes. Ramana Gogula should not repeat this if you want a long term career in Telugu movie industry.

Review : Top Telugu Movies in 2006

Telegu Film Industry has seen many ups and downs in 2006. First half of the year has seen so many hits while second half is full of flops.

Top Films in 2006 :

1. Bommarillu : This is the movie of 2006. Novel Story, Tight Screen Play, Good Narration coupled with Bhaskar's exceptional direction make this movie a must watch.

2. Pokiri : Higheast grosser in the Telugu film history. Mahesh Babu-Ileana- Poori combination created sensation at the Box Office.

3. Sri Ramadasu : Devotional story brought even GrandMa to the theatre. Nagarjuna and Sneha action, Keeravani Music and Raghavendra Rao direction are the plus points.

4. Devadasu : Nobody thought that this movie will become a hit. YVS Chowdary ditection and Ileana beauty makes the movie first hit movie of 2006.

5. Laxmi, Ranam, Godavari and Vikramarkudu.

I have not considered dubbing films for review.

Surprise hit movie of 2006 :

Andala Ramudu : Remake of Tamil Hit film was surprised every one with its collections. Sunil Dances helped the movie.

Hero of the Year :

Mahesh Babu in Pokiri

Heroine of 2006 :

Ileana in Pokiri and Devadasu : She simply mesmerised audience with her figure, beauty and exposing.

Special Mention : Sneha and Genelia acted well in Sri Ramadasu and Bommarillu rspectively.

Director of the year 2006 :

Bhaskar of Bommarillu. He is the find of the year.

Director regained his touch in 2006 : Poori Jagannath of Pokiri after series of flop movies.

Producer of the Year :

Dil Raju of Bommarillu for making a clean movie with a new director.

Best Film Music in 2006 :

Sri Ramadasu : MM Keeravani scored best music album of the year.

Biggest Flops of 2006 :

Pournami - MS Raju got Biggest flop after hat-trick of hits.

Boss, Stalin, Bangaram and Veerabhadra- Presence of even big stars failed to save these movies.
