Yamadonga- Return of Junior NTR

Despite moderately negative reviews by experts, Yamadonga created sensation in the Telugu Movie circles due to appreciation by mass audience. Junior NTR- Rajamouli combination once again created magic after super hits like Simhadri and Student No.1. Jr NTR once again proved his acting prowess and all-round talent. Mahesh and Jr NTR are future stars of Telugu Cinema Industry. Class is permanent; no one will stop these young actors.


Why Yamadonga is attracting repeat audience?

Movie means entertainment, Yamadonga once again proved this eternal quote. It has all the ingredients of an entertaining movie. Classic story (mass), superb actors like NTR and Mohan Babu, wonderful direction, good music, wonderful graphics and superb dialogues make this movie a real entertainer. This movie is a must watch for every viewer who wants a pure commercial movie.

Why do I have high expectations on Junior NTR?
He once proved his acting talent and superb dancing prowess. No one will stop this hard working star from attaining greater heights. He has ambition, talent, perseverance, maturity, support and skills to become a next superstar. He just needs a careful selection of stories and should learn to say “no” if situation needs. His new look (reduced weight) illustrated the hard working nature of this young hero. I can’t understand why Nandamuri family is isolating this future superstar! He is the most matured hero among the new generation of Tollywood stars.

Advice to Telugu Movie reviewers:

You should review a movie according to the tastes of general audience but not according to your taste. 90% of audience watch movies for entertainment. Telugu website reviewers should learn this simple thing. Great Andhra is some what better than Idlebrain in this aspect.

Who will make his life story into a movie? His real life has mother sentiment, ups and downs and other ingredients to make a super hit movie. I am waiting for it.

Review : Top Telugu Movies in 2006

Telegu Film Industry has seen many ups and downs in 2006. First half of the year has seen so many hits while second half is full of flops.

Top Films in 2006 :

1. Bommarillu : This is the movie of 2006. Novel Story, Tight Screen Play, Good Narration coupled with Bhaskar's exceptional direction make this movie a must watch.

2. Pokiri : Higheast grosser in the Telugu film history. Mahesh Babu-Ileana- Poori combination created sensation at the Box Office.

3. Sri Ramadasu : Devotional story brought even GrandMa to the theatre. Nagarjuna and Sneha action, Keeravani Music and Raghavendra Rao direction are the plus points.

4. Devadasu : Nobody thought that this movie will become a hit. YVS Chowdary ditection and Ileana beauty makes the movie first hit movie of 2006.

5. Laxmi, Ranam, Godavari and Vikramarkudu.

I have not considered dubbing films for review.

Surprise hit movie of 2006 :

Andala Ramudu : Remake of Tamil Hit film was surprised every one with its collections. Sunil Dances helped the movie.

Mahesh Babu in Pokiri

Heroine of 2006 :

Ileana in Pokiri and Devadasu : She simply mesmerised audience with her figure, beauty and exposing.

Special Mention : Sneha and Genelia acted well in Sri Ramadasu and Bommarillu rspectively.

Director of the year 2006 :

Bhaskar of Bommarillu. He is the find of the year.

Director regained his touch in 2006 : Poori Jagannath of Pokiri after series of flop movies.

Producer of the Year :

Dil Raju of Bommarillu for making a clean movie with a new director.

Best Film Music in 2006 :

Sri Ramadasu : MM Keeravani scored best music album of the year.

Biggest Flops of 2006 :

Pournami - MS Raju got Biggest flop after hat-trick of hits.

Boss, Stalin, Bangaram and Veerabhadra- Presence of even big stars failed to save these movies.
