Maoist attacks – unanswered questions

Former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nedurumalli Janardhana Reddy and Cabinet minister Rajyalaxmi narrowly escaped from the jaws of death after a landmine blast in Nellore district. Maoists once again failed to kill a former chief minister within a span of 3 years. In 2004, Nara Chandrababu Naidu escaped from Maoists landmine attack at Alipiri. We should all condemn this evil act.

But we should also think in other angle to understand the real problem. As long as our politicians think Maoist problem is a law& order one, it is difficult to control this crisis. Widening economical gap, rising corruption and lack of honest leaders making our democracy is a big illusion to poor people. So they are showing their anger by helping anti-social elements like Maoists.Courtesy: Eenadu.

Please share your opinion:

1. How Maoists are attacking Z-Category security people despite tight security?

2. Why some sections of people are helping Maoists in these attacks?

3. Why people are not reacting sharply to these attacks?

4. Why there is no sentiment for our top leaders even after attacks on their lives?

5. Why Intelligence is failing to advise in advance to prevent these acts?

6. What Maoists will achieve by killing these leaders?

7. When will they come out of their outdated ideologies?

8. Is Naxalism really a law and order problem? Or a socio-economic one?

9. Why there is a big gap between our leaders and people?

10. Can Naxalites attack former chief ministers without support from local people?

11. Why there is no sympathy on Nedurumalli and Chandrababu Naidu despite attempts on their lives by Moists?

12. When will our corrupt leaders sincerely serve our poor people?

13. Why our leaders are accumulating money for the next 10 generations?

14. Why some families are ruling some constituencies like their own kingdoms?

15. Why only 1% of funds are reaching real beneficiaries?

16. Can police save our leaders from the extremists?

In the past, when our leaders died people voluntarily fasted for several days. Now a days, no one is shedding tears despite attacks on our leaders lives. Is it time for our ambitious youth to enter into politics and save our country from these corrupt families?

Please share your opinion on Maoists and our leaders.

Umesh Chandra - Great Police officer

Umesh Chandra was undoubtedly the most inspirational police officer in the history of Andhra Pradesh police.

He was assassianated by Maoists in broad day light at SR NAGAR junction in Hyderabad in 1999. He was treated by constables as GOD.

He worked as SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE in Kadapa and Karimanagar districts.

He was a great fan of Telugu Desam founder NT Rama rao.

The outpouring of love for their favorite son and police officer, and outrage at his transfer from Kadapa district provide a spectacle unparalleled in the history of the Andhra Pradesh.

His website is a must visit for everyone to know about the great personality. Click here.
