Chiranjeevi was dragged into political discussions by fans and media even though he doesn’t utter a single word on his political motives. According to rumours, Chiranjeevi is in consultation with his close aides regarding his political plans and he may announce his new party after Sankranthi festival. As per sources, he wants to start a political party with new agenda with the help of young and dynamic leaders. But political hopefuls and opposition leaders are trying to place “Kapu card” on Chiranjeevi. It is interesting to see how Chiranjeevi can handle this caste image which was imposed on him even before he enters into politics.
Political observers are asking few interesting questions:
1. Is there any space left for new political outfit?
In 1983, NTR easily came to power just within 9 months of Telugu Desam inception due to huge political vacuum.
But Chiranjeevi can win if he can successfully mobilise “unhappy communities” with new agenda. He may face problems in Rayalaseema and Telangana but he may emerge as largest party in coastal Andhra. It will be difficult for him to sweep polls as NTR did in 1983.
2. Can Chiranjeevi emulate NTR?
NTR used his charisma, exceptional oratory skills, media and political vacuum to the maximum to decimate Congress party. Congress leaders underestimated NTR’s ability and paid the price.
But this time, TDP and Congress are not underestimating Chiranjeevi. But Chiranjeevi created good image among people through his social activities like blood banks and eye banks.
Chiranjeevi may not get media support as it was enjoyed by NTR in 1983. Congress and TDP may do anything to spoil his political aspirations.
3. Can BCs support Chiranjeevi?
NTR came to power by successfully combining Kamma’s money power and BCs statistical power (number). Can Kapu + BC alliance come to power? We have to wait and watch.
4. Can he get support from non-Kapu fans?
It is the most crucial question. If fans from other castes (except Kapu and BC) support him politically, he may easily win 2009 assembly elections.
According to my small survey in Ongole, 30% of fans from other castes are not supporting his political ambitions. They want to see him as “Andarivadu” but not as “Kondarivadu”.
5. Available time:
NTR had just 9 months in 1982 but Chiranjeevi has 18 months to win next Assembly elections.
6. Political rivals:
NTR has lesser rivals in the state in 1983 but he faced charismatic leader like Indira Gandhi. Chiranjeevi has to face strong local leaders like Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu in the state to win polls.
We have to wait and watch his political moves before coming to conclusion. Will Chiranjeevi really enter politics?

A CORRECT TIME FOR YOUNGER GENERATION.
Chiranjeevi should enter politics and should bring in a change. He should either have his own party or join hands with BSP and other sections to command maximum votes. However he should build a strong experienced selfless support team both politically and personally to sustain the dirty political games. He should first analyze all the lessons learnt in all the failures of different weaker section leaders and fronts as they are bound to confront him as well. All kinds of tricks and pressures will be played on him his party and supporters by the established players once he enters the game. He should be well prepared to counter all of them. In any case his entry is a welcome idea as this will really change the state politics positively like NTR did about 25 years ago. This will also enable larger sections of people who are away from power to come into power in a democratic way.
The idea of Third Front, whoever has conceived it, is not more valid at any other time than it is now. The two major caste based political parties (one based on Reddy caste and another on Kamma caste) in the State are indulging in wordy duels in the Assembly and are stalling useful issues. It is stating the obvious that these parties are vying with each other to draw the attention of the public for good scores in the forthcoming elections.
Eenadu stongly favours and support Telugu Desam party which was interestingly agreed by it Managing Director Ramoji Rao others newspapers like Vaartha (The news paper run by Girish Sanghi, Industrialist and director of Sanghi industries who joined Congress party during 2004 elections) and Sun Network(which owns Gemini and Teja channels) favor the congress party. This Press/media bias towards politics is not limited to the state of AP. YSR often openly threatens media. He justifies corruption comparing to previous Telugu Desam rule.
Like Mahatma Gandhi who played the major role in driving British rule out of India if Chiranjeevi enters the politics and by Gods grace if our public supports him not by looking his Cine image alone but also his social service then it is no wonder that he can do something better than todays dirty politicians. They publicly blame each other just for votes. But any chiranjeevi fan or a average common man with good thinking capabilities can understand who is really stupid and who is not.
i am observing that all media want to show just chiranjeevi garu belongs to some castthis is not good.He is "ANDARIVAADU".YES definitly he is good person and he is only the person to change this dirty politicscaste based politics. We belive in that he will definetly do very much better than these governments.please all support HIM to change OUR lives.

Neither chirenjivi nor any body else, cannot do any thing as CM. People need some change in the system of politics. before change in the system of politics people has to change their way of picking up the leader. They have to think what thay want and what they are expecting from CM. we can not choose a CM just because of he got a good fam in society or based on caste.
I don't think chirenjivi not mature enough to lead Andhra Pradesh. may be his fans should know reel is not a real.
Now it seems the fame of chiranjeevi is developed all by himself and his fans. A real person or his followers will not turn violent on such small comments like the one done by rajasekahar.
The main reason for this kind of violence are several movies that are recently released by chiranjeevi followers in the industry or his own.
These films contain dialogs like "Don't keep with chiru fans, they will tear u down!!" Many films contain these sort of dialogues which increases the violence and superiority in fan associations.
I directly blame the actors who encourage these sorts of activities.
NTR won the love of people by doing good to them and not by forming associations like these which threatens the peaceful society.
Chiranjeevi is not the wind of change .
Firstly good post...
We have seen lot of people so far comming in to politics and left no where.1 or 2 exceptional. When it comes to chiru i love him on screen but not as a politician.
I never voted i wont even vote if mega-star comes. I hates caste system, he is also sailing on the same boat. Making a political move is nothign but making a selfish move. He cant be a CM if just his fans vote him
Hi Friend,
He is a good social server. But he is not good as a leader. He is the person who doesn't have control over his family. This is not his personal crazy but it is news driven craze. I am not apposing him but he con't rule the people.
Thanks
Chirangeevi is afraid to enter politics, if he want serve people, construct party and reveal his agenda
not at all.NTR has the charisma and attracted by all the telugu speaking people. No one can beat him.It was proved in a survey conducted by a popular news channel earlier.
