As per Google trends, Indians and people of Arabic region are top searchers for sex related information. Telugu and Bengali people are world toppers even though internet penetration is low in these countries.
Surprising fact is there is no American or European city among the top slots. Except China, all other non-liberalised societies are craving for more sex related information. Myths are busted. Facts are revealed.

This is one of those scenarios where statistics is used without much emphasis on the correlating factors. If you look at these regions that are topping the list, most of them are high population developing-countries. The chances are, these countries/regions have access to internet in the form of net-cafes unlike the western world. And considering the population of these regions you can't compare them with hardly one crore each populus European regions. Google might be a great company with lot of MITans but its that kind of high standard faculty at facilities like NASA, who forgot the basics of unit conversions and caused a mars orbitor crash. So all I say is don't give too much emphasis to things like these that don't have proper analysis.
google trends normalizes!! so, it's not absolute value.. and ppl of different countries search in different ways.. check the trends for say, porn! u cud see tht european countries top the list!!
I agree with your opinion. But this trends included telugu people in Andhra pradesh not NRIs and other outside telugu people.
